Neil goes on Cwm FM to appeal for the return of family photos which were lost in the burglary.

Jinx is forced to record a fake radio programme where he is supposedly in Ireland, at a monastery.

Ffion's apparent illness is troubling Gaynor, who knows that something is wrong, but can't put her finger on it.

Ffion takes some pupils for an open day at Cardiff Uni, but takes herself off to a pub, talks to some strange bloke, and gets drunk.  When the pupils are not back at the appointed time, Gaynor makes frantic phone calls, including one to Ffion, who sheepishly says that she is ill.  Gaynor asks Macs to go to Cardiff and collect them, but he freezes up and refuses point blank (we assume this is where Scott lives).

When Gaynor says she will report him to the board of governors, Macs admits to Gaynor that he was attacked.

Initially she appears to be sympathetic but then throws it back in his face, saying that now he must realise how Izzy felt.  This seems rather uncalled for.  Later, she appears at his flat, and gives him some information to help him.  Macs says that she is only there to ease her conscience, threatens her, and throws her out.

Episode 1

Probert is not happy that one Gwyneth, of the two lesbians, is managing his family law case (about access to his daughter).  He doesn't think that a lesbian would have the first idea about how to empathise with a man, and accuses her of bias.

Colin tells Meic that Anita wants nobody to know that the two of them are together.  Meic is finding it difficult to be in Colin's presence.

Episode 2

Ffion invites herself round to a non-existent party at Macs and Sioned's place.  Macs quickly excuses himself, being around alcohol makes him nervous.  He's quite clearly still in a very bad place.

Huw tells his Leighton that Lios is pregnant, and that he's the father, but he can't bring Sion round to his point of view.  Leighton is caught between wanting to be loyal to his grandson but also loyal to his son too.

Dani tells her brother Gethin that she slept with Garry Monk whilst they were in Newcastle, and that Garry is threatening her with blackmail.  Gethin thinks she should tell Brandon now, rather than have him find out from Garry. He may have a point.  Gethin thinks that if she confesses now, Brandon will be upset, true, but in time he will forgive her.

Dani goes to visit Garry in prison, as he requested, behind Brandon's back.  Garry says that unless Dani leaves Brandon, he will reveal all to Brandon about how she slept with him during the trip to Newcastle.  Dani doesn't believe him, but acquiesces.  She is distinctly uncomfortable with the male attention in prison, but Garry accuses her of lapping it up.

Ffion's drinking is still continuing, and he is becoming more elaborate at hiding it, with bottles being hidden in cupboards, behind things and so on.  Sioned is not very happy.

Lois's frustration with her domineering mother Gaynor continues, and things will soon come to a head.

Dai and Diane win the contract for Norman's new pub.  Norman visits them to give them the news, and posts letters out to everyone else.

Jim Probert sees Norman posting the letters, and gets the wrong end of the stick, convinced that he has won the contract.  This isn't going to end well, I'm sure of it!

When the truth emerges in Y Deri that Dai and Diane won, Probert says that there was bribery involved, and vows to get to the bottom, little knowing that Eileen looked at Probert's tender price.  Clearly the bad blood that exists between ABD and Probert is going to run and run.

Sion's father, Leighton, returns to Cwmderi, and there is a large family gathering.  Macs however remains distant.  At the sound of a lager can opening, he has flashbacks to the night he was attacked, and he refuses to drink.  He leaves early, and nobody can really understand why.

Iolo follows him, and begs Macs to speak out, and say what's wrong.  Iolo can see that Macs is suffering.  Just as Macs is on the edge of saying something, he bottles it and throws Iolo out.  Will Iolo's persistence pay off, or is he in fact going to just alienate his brother?

Sion arranges an interview for Huw, but Huw is still angry with Sion for saying he will insist on a DNA test for Lois's baby.  To get back at Sion, Huw doesn't go to the interview, making Sion angry.

Leanne finds out about Lois being pregnant, but under pressure from Gaynor, agrees to keep it secret.

Probert makes a thoroughly inept pass at Eileen, and she slaps him, quite a good one in fact.  Whilst Probert is largely harmless, he is not pleasant looking, and he is lacking on social skills.

Anita and Meic are still arguing, things are not working between them.  The two of them need some sort of outside intervention.

Colin seizes his chance, and tells Anita that she's not safe on Y Deri overnight on her own, and she agrees for him to stay the night.

Eileen sneaks a look at Probert's tender for a renovation contract whilst Norman is distracted, and she clearly intends to pass this on to Diane and Dai at ABD.

Will turns out to be the vandal, he threw the bottle through Y Deri's window because people are teasing him at school, although this seems far-fetched too.

Macs's haircut hasn't solved anything, it has left him thoughtful and still a little distant, but perhaps it's a start.  He is warm and friendly to Iolo, but distant with Sioned.  The only thing the haircut has done is to change his outward appearance, but all Macs's problems remain on the inside.

Marian continues to be rude to Denzil, and orders him around unnecessarily.  She really is an old busybody!

Someone throws a bottle through the window of Y Deri.  Anita is shocked, but Meic tells her that people are reacting to her behaviour, which seems a little far-fetched!

Episode 1


Iolo and Sioned talk about Macs's erratic behaviour, but something in Sioned's report of the Leanne incident doesn't seem to tally with Macs's, and Iolo is concerned.  Iolo speaks to Scott's mother, and she has not seen him.

When Sioned tries to persuade Macs to be intimate, the only way he seems able to cope is if he's in the driving seat, aggressively pushing Sioned around.  Unsurprisingly it goes wrong.

Episode 2

Macs is sorry for being rough with Sioned, she clearly has bruises.  Macs reacts badly to Gethin's lager cans in the fridge - the same brand of lager that he and Scott drank the evening he was raped.  Clearly it's causing him flashbacks.

Iolo tries to press Macs for the truth, but he clams up and becomes defensive.  Iolo tries again but Macs becomes angry and throws him out.

Huw sits his last exam, but he and Sion are still arguing about paying for Lois's baby.

Meic has finally had enough of what he thinks is Anita and Colin flirting and playing games, and he packs a case.  Denzil intercepts him and takes him off for a chat.

Macs, having examined himself in the mirror, decides to shave all his hair off, perhaps to try and disassociate himself from the attack.

Sion and Huw are still arguing over what will happen when Lois gives birth.  Huw is adamant that he will stand by Lois, but Sion is trying to make him see that he has no obligation to her.  Sion has a point; it's not his baby, so why should Huw (and presumably Sion and Britt) pay money to support the baby?

Lois sits her history exam at home.  Ffion invigilates, but she is still drinking neat vodka from a water bottle, and passes out, enabling Lois to cheat unseen on her paper.

Ffion later passes out and vomits at home, causing a domestic scene.  She is not helping her case!

Macs is still behaving erratically.  He lies to Iolo and attempts to explain his behaviour, by claiming that Leanne paid Macs a visit (which of course was not true, she attacked Sioned, and Macs was not there).  He basically tries to convince Iolo that the confrontation left him shaken and nervous, but it doesn't really ring true.

Ffion is still drinking heavily, and she's even drinking neat vodka from a water bottle, in an attempt to disguise  it, like someone who is working out at a gym might drink bottled water.

Dai and Diane are still putting Anita up, but they are arguing.  Dai wants her to leave, Diane says they are duty bound to help her because she is a friend in need.

Anita comes back to work, to Meic's disgust.  She also rings Colin and tells him to come to work.  Anita tells Meic that it's her name over the door, so Meic cannot hire or fire anyone.  Anita and Colin's presence inflame Meic's temper, and the first evening does not go well.  It's hardly surprising really; an adulteress in the same bar as her husband and her lover!

Probert and Dai argue over a contract to refurbish a pub.  Probert is determined that he will win the contract, but Dai has other plans.

Macs is still showing clear signs of trauma.  He has not been intimate with Sioned for ten days.  When he comes into Y Deri to get drunk with his brother Iolo, Iolo suggests heading to Benny's, an old favourite gay bar of Iolo's, that they have obviously been to before together.  Macs reacts badly, now claiming that gay people are disgusting.  This sudden change in behaviour shocks Iolo, and Iolo doesn't really know what to make of this sudden personality change.

Macs still cannot bear anyone to be near him, and he is still showering multiple times per day.  Sioned, understandably, is upset and confused.

Gaynor finds one of Ffion's secret alcohol stashes.  Ffion says it came from a former pupil that she caught drinking.  Gaynor believes her without question, but it's a close call.  These devious drunks.  Ffion will have to either change her ways or find better ways to hide her alcoholism, because at this rate, it won't be long before she is caught.

Gaynor and Sion continue to argue over whether Lois is being truthful when she says that Huw is not the father, but Huw is adamant he will stand by her.  It's not yet clear why he is being so loyal towards Lois, can it really be as simple as the fact that she is his girlfriend?

Poor Macs is clearly traumatised.  He is showering 5 times a day, vomiting every time he eats.  Scott still has not been seen, and it looks increasingly like he will not be coming back to Cwmderi.

Meanwhile, Lois has told her mother that Huw is not the father of her unborn baby.  She is deeply shocked.

Poor Macs is deeply upset after the sexual assault by Scott, but tells no-one.  He is quite plainly traumatised by recent events, and he is unable to control is emotions.

Leanne attacks Sioned, Eileen comes to her rescue, and there is a feeling that the recent tension between the two of them is starting to thaw.  Sioned has been a real bitch to her mother Eileen, and maybe this is the start of the end of that.

Meic reaches the end of his tether, and he throws Anita out.

Scott persuades Macs to have a 'final drink' with him before he moves out.  Macs is skeptical but agrees, perhaps thinking that humouring him will make him leave faster.  However, Macs is oblivious to the fact that Scott has drugged the lager.  Macs grows more and more apparently drunk.  Later on, Macs is unable to even stop himself from dribbling down his face.  Behind closed doors, Scott rapes him.  Scott leaves the bedroom, leaves the house and leaves Cwmderi, with a cruel grin on his face.
